2009 Subaru Forester Revealed On Cover Of Japanese Car Magazine
A new Japanese magazine cover scan is on the web and it reveals in full detail what the new boxy CUV will look like when it soon debuts.
Subaru has already gone live with a new mini site for the Forester that showed us a darkened image of the Forester's rear end, but this new scan leaves nothing to the imagination.
New Forester has a very Tribeca-like grille and headlights and looks much more like its own design than does the current model. First official images and technical details will be released on Christmas Day.

Next-Gen Opel Vectra Renamed Insignia
When the next-generation Opel/Vauxhall Vectra debuts at the 2008 London Auto Show in July of next year, it will be called by a different name than the one we've known since 1988. General Motors announced today that its new mid-size family sedan will be called the Insignia.
The new car's design will draw heavily from the well-received Opel GTC Concept that debuted at the Geneva Motor Show last March. The only picture we have is the teaser shot above, which GM has revealed.
The new Insignia will be built at GM's plant in Rüsselsheim, Germany.

Subaru Launches New Forester Teaser Site
We think that the launch of the new Forester teaser mini site corresponds to the leakage of photos we brought you yesterday.
Subaru launched a darkened image of the new Forester, like it did with STI. And here's a lightened version of the image, which shows the new Forester's rump.
The new Subaru Forester will make its debut at Detroit Auto Show.

Leaked: 2009 Subaru Forester Brochure

After the unconfirmed sketch of the new Subaru Forester, which hit the web a couple week ago, now some 2009 Subaru Forester brochure scans have just found their ways onto web.
It appears like that sketch is very close to the actual car that Subaru eventually unveils. The new Forester carries a grille similar to the Tribeca's and it looks like there's a radical design departure for Subie's little CUV.

Production Ford Kuga Spied

The production version of Ford Kuga spied in Europe. We have seen the Ford Kuga in concept form at September's Frankfurt Motor Show.
The production model doesn't look very different from the concept. The Kuga will be in European Ford dealerships in spring 2008 powered by a variety of engines, including Ford's latest 2.0L turbodiesel.
The Kuga will probably debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March alongside the Fiesta/Verve.

Toyota Celica Replacement Coming In 2009

The Automobilwoche, Automotive News' German counterpart, reported that Toyota intends to bring the Celica back to market sometime in 2009.
The only sporting model in Toyota's lineup was killed in 2005 all around the world. What form the new Celica might take is open to debate, but the recent rumors of a low-cost RWD model might hint at the future. If Scion gets the rumored rear-driver, an upmarket version could be possible with Toyota badge.

2009 Nissan Murano Pics Hit The Web

Detroit 2008 Preview: Kia To Name New SUV Borrego
Kia named its newproduction body-on-frame SUV Borrego, which born from the 2005 Mesa concept. The car will be offered with V6 or V8 power. Borrego's grill looks similar to the one on Subaru Tribeca.
The name of Borrego comes from the Anza- Borrego Desert State Park in California. Unfortunately for Kia, in Spanish, "borrego" roughly translates to "lamb" or "sheep". So its name doesn't help to conjure up a tough image for a new SUV.
The car will be unveiled in January at Detroit.
